I've been running win7 for li”e a week and its been fine. No problems yet and its much better than vista so far. But I thought that vista was pretty decent compared to xp. Not sure why everyone is hating on vista

 

well im torrenting it now
gonna be a while till it finishes and i burn it onto a dvd and install it

it doesnt flash your HDD if u install a new OS does it?
(yeah i lost all my PC knowledge when i got into cars)

 

doesnt it depend whether its an upgrade or not? i had to start fresh when i installed vista business because it was not an upgradeable version.

i'd back up regardless.

 

i used to have my HDD backed up onto my 500gb external
but teh program i used to automaticly do it expired and i never got arround to torrenting a crack or a full version of it
hmm so i need my docs, pics, music
what else

 

i usually do those and all the programs that i have downloaded. saves me from having to redownload them again.

I did a fresh install and I backed up everything weekly so I didn't have to worry about it

2.6 ghz Core 2 Duo
4gb Ram
500gb HDD
Geforce 8400M
and a few other stuff but that stuff doesn't really matter

i only have 1.73ghz 1gb ram and 80gb HDD

Best of luck to you guys all sticking with pc's. This is my LAST one and am counting the days to get rid of it. Vista is the worst operating system ever. For those of you that have had no problems with your Vista that's great I hope your luck continues but as for me....I'm out....for good.
