I would like to think we do but they will need to have a better performance... too many players were non-existent in the first game against czech

 

They got their $hit together today and tied Italy I think we could've beaten them had the a$$hole ref not red-carded two players for basically nothing (Italy got one red as well). Pretty aggressive game over all, so curious to see what happens w/ Ghana next.

BTW -- yeah for Ghana whooping the Czechs, now we all got a chance.

 

^^^ ya... i dont think that ref will see another world cup game... he lost control and was a factor in the game... the bracket is an absolute mess now and the 3 goals given up against czech could come back to bite us in the end if it goes to goal differential

 

Brazil didn't play that good of a game. They won 2-0 due to Australia's defense faltering during those two critical moments. Not because of Brazils offensive skill. Australia hold the Brazilians for most of the game. The game could have been a draw.

 

I couldnt believe it when brazils keeper came out and tried to catch the ball rather than punch it.. he completely missed and then the australian midfielder missed an empty net... the score definetly didnt reflect the true spirit of the game

 

yeah.. i got a bunch of dam koreans in my living room hooting and hollering.. maybe not hottin and hollering.. but maybe chinking and changing.. HAHA

 

My picks for the winners are either Brazil, Argentina, Italy, or the Czeck's.... Out of those 4 I will root for the only 5 time champions.... Brazil baby.

Beck's free kick was class and the portugal netherland game was out of control... the ref wont see another world cup game.. what was he thinking when he gave deco a second yellow resulting in red

 

yeah, portugal netherlands was a very out of control game. though some of it has to be blamed on the players, where they got a bit hot-headed when it came to stopping plays. eh, the ref is gonna have a tough time explaining this one ....

 

yea... i dont know if its possible to explain the double yellows on both of portugals players who saw red... decos second yellow was the worst card i have ever seen and the first portugese player to see red received his second yellow on an inadvertant hand ball

 

true... it was partly the players fault.. it started early in the game with that bad tackle on ronaldo and then figo started the fire again by headbutting the ned player

 

poor russian, he didnt know what to do! also makes me wonder, you think he speaks portuguiese and/or.... what ever dutch speaks.
