yeah i was just following the AUS ITA game online. it was a good, even match throughout. that last PK was just bad for the aussies, though the italians sold the ref on a foul that was never really there. guess the ref didnt want to ref anymore so he just gave them the PK to end the match haha.

that was a tough pk to call in the 95th minute of a tied knockout game... i think it was deserving of a pk as it was a goal scoring opportunity but the foul was a weak challenge so it didnt look all that bad... regardless autralia should have put one in the back of the net against an italian side with only 10 men

So who will make it to the final round?

If England beats Portugal, Brazil or France, then I hope Germany wins vs. Italy. An England vs. Germany match would be one of the most watched sports coverage ever. All the English fans will cross the English Channel and create havoc. And I'll take the first flight to Berlin and join them. Ofcourse England has a history of losing to Portugal although Deco is out. Put Lennon on the pitch with 3-attackers.

England would have to beat Brazil to make it to the final round. Come on France, stop Brazil!

i am an england fan. england better win against portugal. i'm kind of sympathetic and wish christiano ronaldo will be able to play in the match, but then again, i hope he doesn't so as to give england a better chance. it would be interesting to watch how ronaldo plays against some of his ManU teammates ...

i think france really could beat brazil if they wanted to. the problem is, brazil is very fluid with their plays. theirry henry has gotta step up his game ... i mean c'mon, the guy was leading scorer in the premiership this past season. if france can get some faster plays into henry, he'll undoubtedly put france on the scoreboard.

just to add to evosky... france needs to play the ball to henrys feet or into space on the ground... putting it in the air allows the defenders to get in his shirt and he has no space to create

Get out of EUROPE...!

My day didn't end bad at all. England lost but France beat Brazil. Thanks France for keeping the Jules Remet trophy in the hands of the Europeans!

wayne rooney gets thrown out of the biggest game of his career. go back to croxteth loser.
is klinsmann still the most hated man in germany? nope.
zidane might get france past portugal. what a mid, geez.

my prediction:
germany v. portugal
germany 2-1

wow, england really should have won that match, they had two great opportunities to score. they played around too much during those two chances.

didn't get to watch the brazil-france match, but oh man, it's amazing that france won. brazil was the favorite, but i guess henry and zidane came through.

i would like to see an italy-portugal match. two fast and fluid teams.

funny. i know you meant "hooligans". i watched that and imo, i wouldn't expect local officers to put on a big ol' white motorcycle helmet to defend themselves against idiots, i'd suggest they just shoot the folk who they felt were threatening their life, but that is a personal perspective

go portugal. rooney is way too big headed. he gets way too much hype and takes it to the extreme bc hes "ROONEY." my supporting evidence would be his sportsmanship shown today

England made so many mistakes and the string of events throughout the match showed it wasnt their day... they didnt deserve to advance anyways, they had a mediocre tourney and didnt live up to the hype of it being their year to win... germany france in the finals... advantage germany
