and even considering gas mileage i'd take a 4runner , highlander , or rav 4 over the sienna ANY day of the week. but apparently i'm retarded.
And I'm well aware of the size of the Rav, but it just shows you how undersized the highlander is. Rav is classified as small. It losses in the girth catagory...and we all know how important girth is ;)
trust there's more than 3/4 inches. not a whole lot more but me and my co workers regularly cram ourselves into the 3rd row seats and check it out , half the time laughing half the time seriously considering a long period of time being stuck back there.
there are also rear headrests.
the vehicles still get high crash ratings.

and if i had them in the rear seat a bad accident occurred and they died i'd prob sue if it looked like the design was flawed from a safety perspective.
