I'm sorry about the accident but am glad you're well enough to post and all that good stuff!

That's quite the near death experience.

Update* Going into the Doctors office tomorrow to look into surgery options.

I thought I had just messed up my rotator cuffs but on my left shoulder I actually Sheered the tendon that goes over my shoulder and allows me to lift my arm. It has retracted up to my neck and the surgery is obviously going to be extensive. This is almost 2 months after the accident and I still have open wounds, Huge scarring, and B!tchin head aches!

I think I am going to move on and build a muscle car and give up on motorcycles! A couple of people on a local forum have since this accident decided to step away from their motorcycle purchase and I can only hope that is true with some of you scion owners. I know they are a cheap fun investment that all of us desire but in all honesty it aint worth it.

i hope you are ok and that your surgery goes well. it sucks to hear about this accident and that no offense you werent responsible enough to wear your saftey gear when riding even a short distance....its just like clicking in that seatbelt...it can save your life. thankfully though you are still alive and going to get better. i know so many of my guy friends have either bought a bike or thought of buying a bike and it scares the crap out of me to think how unsafe they can be. gl with everything and be safe!

I like how you basically push a motorcycle as a death trap when in fact you caused the accident whole handedly.....

Do you believe that someone can be 100% safe riding a motorcycle? Ask any motorcycle rider whether its a hells angel or a grandma on a moped they will all tell you the same!

It's not a matter of "IF" you wreck it is just a matter of "WHEN"

You can get on a motorcycle today and I guarentee you wreck within 6 months if you ride full time! I lasted 2 years and made one small mistake!

Now heres some advice if your going to come into a thread about me and talking with a group of my friends you might want to check that bull $hit attitude at the door!

yeah you will go down but going down and dying is totally different.

I don't have any attitude. and if you post it in a public thread you're going to get responses from tons of people. oh and next time you have a chat with your group of friends how about we get them name tags so as that I can make sure to leave the thread alone , being it';s just you and your group of friends talking...

I may have come into "your" thread but I'm not the one getting an attitude.

and you say you were the first to turbo an xB ? that's a bull s... attitude......

I do ride , have went down before and probably will again.

yet you will never throw a leg over again and then advise people not to do it when in this case the accident was a simple unfortunate mistake made by yourself.

Where the hell does me having the first SUCESFUL CUSTOM turbo xB come in this matter?

Besides that I advise people looking to buy a motorcycle not to because they are a death trap. You have no protection and people cannot see you.
I started to realize that but still did not care and was ignorant due to enjoying the ride so much. I choose not to ride anymore....Guess I just got more to live for then driving a dump truck

when you said that I came in with a bs attitude. that's when it came into the matter....

yeah it is true people cannot see motorcyclists , and there is basically no protection , that is still not a death trap. it can become one but A LOT of riding a motorcycle is being 100% aware of your surroundings , see things before they happen.

yeah more to live for than driving a dump truck.

yeah ok what is that supposed to be a low blow?

I don't know about you but as a small child when I woudl see construction going on I always thought it would be SOOO cool to drive the equipment.

so when I was working a job where we had an offroad test track I was first in line to drive the dump truck for loading and unloading rocks.

good try with the whole dump truck thing.

It's ok dude I know you are the type who is always right , will argue til death and apparently(from your behavior in these last few posts) is "one upper" , as well as basically a pompous a.. .

oh and final word on motorcycling..... you admitted you were "ignorant due to enjoying the ride so much"

really not trying to be a jerk but to me that says that you were not being anywhere near as involved with safety and your own life seeing as how you think a motorcycle is a death trap.

being on a bike will always put you in a much higher risk but sooo many times the accident could have been avoided or minimized if the operator was riding the "correct" way.

trust I'm really not "hating" on you or "talking smack"

What you need to realize is I only approached the SL members to tell them, Hey this is why I have not posted anything for 2 months and hey while I am at it Dont buy a motorcycle.

You are right quite a few of the everyday motorcycle wrecks could be avoided if the operator was paying attention but thats the case in ANYTHING.... I went 2 years without a wreck and one mistake almost took my life. I am sorry that is NOT worth it!
