my girlfriend bought this for me for valentines day, i read the manual but im having a hard time figuring out how to edit pictures and make them look good, not edited lol.

does anyone have any pointers? im very new to photo editing and Photoshop CS5 was out of the question, way too expensive.

I use it. My Wife uses it. It's a great alternative to Photoshop CS5, but I only have it because she purchased it. I would have preferred Photoshop Elements 8, but it is what it is.

I tell you what I do when I need to know how to do something, I go to Youtube.com and search "corel paint shop pro x3 help [insert what I'm trying to do here]" and that usually pulls up something useful.
