I'm looking to sell my gear but I'm having trouble coming up with a reasonable price.

Here's what I got.
Nikon D40 w/ kit lens
Nikon 55-200mm VR
Sigma 70-300mm
Nikon SB-400
Two lowepro bags (one holds camera and lenses, the other is a small wedge bag)

I also have a cheap battery grip that I've never used as well as a couple UV filters and a CPL. The SD card is either a 4 or 8 GB, can't remember.

The D40 is about 1.5 years old and is in great shape, in fact, everything's pretty much perfect, I just don't have the hood for the 55-200.

I simply don't use it as often as I should and I could use the money.

So, what's it worth?

 

what it's worth and what you can get is kind of a tough one.

im gonna say $700 is what i'd pay. but maybe you could creatively entice someone into paying closer to $900-ish for all that with some "amazing" pics you've taken with all the gear?

also, you might be better off selling things individually.

 

I appreciate your input. I'm hoping to hold on to all of it, but my laptop is on its way out and it's in need of replacement.

i paid 399 for my d40 and sold it for 350 on ebay :D

 

$700 isn't going to happen when you can get a brand new D90 body only for $750.
