i know the night pic is weak sauce. my 17-85 is a f/4-5.6. kinda weak but at least it has IS and a pretty quick and accurate USM

the second is with my sexy 50mm f/1.4. at f/4 its teh l33t sh4rpn3$$

 

the 50 1.4 is definietly a good lens, however, most people simply do not have the patience to walk around with a prime lens

 

I don't mind a prime lens. Heck all u have to do is move closer or farther away. Only thing that sucks is when u can't move in or out.

 

You should love primes on your 5D Elijah! use that noise performance!

 

The only prime lens I have is my 15mm fisheye.

Other than that I have the 24-105mm f4 L lens.
