^^ sometimes it depends on the photo too. Like with some that are light colored you can't even tell that the white is there even though you outline with a black border. That's why I switched to black only. But I still like the white/black border look

depends on the watermarks...i've seen some ridiculous ones...

 

the white borders look good in photoshop.. but i think im gonna keep the water mark for pictures i really like

 

they may look good in photoshop, but the majority of places you will post have white backgrounds, so its just gonna blend

 

I do a black and white border, but please dont copy me lol

Let me know what you think about these. I shot them at my grandfathers house. This time no flash like I was told earlier. This is his train layout that has been in a couple model railroading magazines. I have more but thats all I loaded up.

jon i like the middle sky pic and the boot pic.

IMO the angled horizon line compliments the dynamic formation of the clouds.
your other two sky pics are straight which makes them a lot less interesting.
