Teleconverters. Worth the money, or avoid and save for a real zoom lens?

 

Personally, I would just save up for a real zoom lens. It's like my car. "Do it right or not at all."

K, figured that would have been the case. I can still get a 70-300mm lens for a reasonable price, so that'll offer some more zoom power.

I think I might just sell off my 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses, and replace it with an 18-200mm lens.

 

im looking into getting my 1st DSLR camera. Any of you experts got suggestions for a starter camera.

 

a rebel xt would be a nice start imo which is what im getting sometime soon lol...its not as expensive as the other DSLRs

 

My first was a D70 DSLR.. Worked out great for me.... You can find a used one cheap.

 

my Nikon D40 is amazingly easy to work with for me being a first time DSLR user.

 

If u go new. then yeah a d40 is a great camera to go with
