hey hey, we just have bipolar weather, 2 days ago, my grass was frozen & it was super windy & rainy. Now mother nature is rewarding us. SO HUSH, YOU.

I'm going to Venice Beach tomorrow, there's always fun stuff & crazy people there (google it). I haven't been there since I was like 10.

 

the only thing we have in IL is downtown chicago...no mountains or canyons or beaches (lake michigan doesnt count) not a real beach. i wanna move to cali or miami

 

The perks of CA...I live in the hills, I've done shoots 10 mins away in a canyon, I live less than 1/2 an hour from the beach & I can get to the snow in the winter in 45 minutes.

 

i think im going to go up to the mountains and enjoy some snowage.. take some pictures and then head to the beach for a nice sunset and a bonfire.. gotta love living in So. Cal.

Joe, have you heard of the financing program they have for the season pass?! You can get the deluxe for like $21 a month & they don't even charge you interest. I'm SERIOUSLY debating it, big time! I've had season passes for the past 2 yrs & I didn't renew this year & I'm aching to go so bad!

I am getting a Nikon D40x for my birthday! YAY!

I take some descent pictures right now with my fujifilm finepix, so I cant wait to get the new one and start taking pictures!

This is one that I took with my finepix at the local zoo!

 

DON'T DO IT!!These people are nuts, nice weather most of the time, great foo places and always something to do. but the people as a whole are rude as ish (however, i have found a few people i like). also, don't move down here w/o experiencing the driving before actually driving. i feel like i'm in a foreign country 90% of the time.

as in ride shotgun with someone that knows the ropes around here. i've been here for 2.5 years and can usually predict things that they'll do here. but just when you think you've seen it all that's when a huge charter bus makes a u-turn on a red, from the far ride hand lane.

 

ha ha trust me, u guys/gals have NOTHING compared to Memphis. I just wish they would do u-turns here. People in memphis get their blinkers taken off from the factory, go 120 on the highway at all times, and stop in front of u and just plain car jack u.

i went to florida in august and got a rental... best/worst idea ever. saved money from cabs as we were 30 mins away from downtown miami but i honestly think they have the rudest drivers out there...

its a good vacation spot tho

 

I love Florida! As much as I say I hate it at times, I cant imagine living anywhere else.

 

as much as i say I hate Memphis, I REALLY HATE it and can only imagine living somewhere else. ha ha

 

hey joe, also on ur photos of the sunset I would've used a higher f stop to put everything in focus. No point in having a beautiful sunset if it's gonna be blurred out. know what I'm saying?

i am iffy about charlotte. i think not having a decent beach within 3 hours sucks, but the mountains arent too far away, but downtown is nice and the university area where i am has alot to do. its got nothing on NY tho haha.

 

f*cking hot/humid/windy down here 365. but we have some beaches near by, closes one is 10mins away :D

no great scenery tho, nothing thats well lit at night to take pics of?
