I love my LowePro bag. Got the CompuDaypack 2 weeks ago. Holds all my camera equipment (minus tripod), my laptop plus some misc things. Weighs a good 10+lbs with everything in it...but it's surprisingly comfortable fully loaded.

that is the bag i have. REALLY big and holds EVERYTHING, but it is a bisquit to carry all the time.

what is it with you guys and this Nikon vs. Canon? does it bother you that much that the guy wants to buy Nikon?
i have a 50mm f/1.4 and i love it for its huge aperture and superior sharpness to my 17-85mm but i dont really get what all the rave about the 50mm is.
i know that it is light and for full frame DSLRs you can have only the 50 and be happy for the rest of your life. but unfortunately for my rebel xt i cant say that. the crop makes it really difficult to shoot pics indoors cause you end up taking pics of people's eyes and nose and at car shows all youre taking pics of is headlights.
so here is my question. is there anyone that has a 24 or 28mm on a crop frame that can say the same as what the full frame guys say about thier 50s: i broke my zoom but it doesnt matter. cause this lenz ownzz j00!

i need a new bag too...i have one but it only fits my d40 with a 18-55mm lens and a couple accessories like chager, filters, etc. i recently bought a tamron 70-300mm and its too big to fit in the bag
in regards to bags, I use a canon camera bag, however Ill be changing it up soon to a crumpler bag. Those seem like the bag of choice for many photographers, simply because they dont look like camera bags.
the one im looking at looks like a freakin lunch bag holder hahaha, but has the same amount of room as my canon bag and much better interior. rather than looking like a camera bag with a big steal me logo on it, it looks like something you'd carry to a picnic.
I hate carrying around a big camera bag with a Canon logo on it. I dont want any bag shapped like a rectangle, that says tamrac, lowepro or anything affiliated with camera accessories.
