yeah a few of them have that over-pixelized look to them

 

I didn't sharpen any of them unless you count the Bicubic Sharper setting when I resize them.

 

yeah...could be the condensing of the pics, happens to me a lot too

why are people posting such small images?

 

they look fine on my laptop....then again the screen resolution is 1024x768

Too much glare on cars kills the shots IMO.

 

i thought i had my cp but turns out i didnt bring the cp for my 50.. just for the 28-135. fail-nezzz

 

eh, it really depends on the car and the shot...

sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt

did anyone get a hold of the new nikkor 35mm f1.8?

i ordered one but theyre on backorder so i was wondering if anyone has it

 

flickr compensates image resize with over sharpening. This is one thing I dont like about flickr, they dont allow you to control the amount of sharpening. I believe its around 30%-50% sharpness increase on resized photos.

Because of this you'll get jaggies

 

im sitting on the fence in regards to picking up the tamron 17-50 f2.8

anyone here have any thoughts about this lens?

I use the 18-55 is kit lens for wide angle but I want a sharper faster lens. the kit lens also seems to be prone to heavy CA when in bright sunlight.

but since owning the 18 55, ii find that I use it the most out of all my lenses, I like to shoot at a wide focal length. when I have the kit lens on I only use it at the 18mm because quite frankly IQ wise I have better lenses for the other focal lengths.

also considering the sigma 30mm 1.4 for low light indoor photos.

decisions decisions..

yes I know, Canon lenses are the way to go, but they also cost 3 times as much money with what seems to be marginal IQ differences from the pics Ive seen relative to the very large price difference.

Nothing a little processing cant alleviate.

id like to hear what others thoughts, are on the lens. My opinion is not fact

however I was wondering if some might have personal experience with the tamron and if so how it compares with other lenses.
