thanks..first time i actually got to play with it outside in daylight and i had my nephew with me and he just got his canon rebel for his bday..

1/250 sec and flash, you should have no issues of a moving puppy in low light. there really is no need to adjust anything in manual for a moving object once use set it right before the shot.

unless you mean manual focus, than ya that would be an issue. Manual exposure adjustments not so much.

idk, i know Canon has a good reputation. i love my P&S Canon SD900, i guess i wanted something more out of my camera but didnt want to pay for it being a bigger body, D80 or D90. which are overpriced IMO.

long exposure + tripod + some LED flashlights from 76 is how i do them.. and IMAGINATION..
