DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
this is Beale Street for sure. See this is an awesome shot and would make an AWESOME HDR, but it's just soooo dangerous. Like there are cops at every stop light ALL day and night.

however I was wondering if some might have personal experience with the tamron and if so how it compares with other lenses.
Ive seen some really sharp tamron pics and some really bad ones, same goes for the L lens. However I wont argue that the L is definately gonna have better build, sharpness and saturation off the bat, however still contemplating whether or not its worth the substantial increase in price. Aside from minute details that may be captures, saturation, sharpness, contrast, white balance can all be altered in raw and post. Trying to fnd out where the price of diminishing returns come into play.
The word marginal differences was the wrong choice of words, I shouldve stated if the differences were worth the substantial increase in cost. No doubt I'd go for the L counterpart if price wasn't an issue, its just an overall better lens.
I borrowd my friends 24 70 L 2.8 to test it out under low light indoor work and I wasn't too impressed by its performance. Maybe I had my expectations too high? However I do think when under different conditions where chromatic aberration and higher focal lengths I may see a difference.
see when i shop for lenses i don't go with just how good the glass is. I like to know whether the front focusing element turns or if it is internal. Meaning I will know if i'm gonna have to reset my Circular polarizer every time i refocus.

don't forget to have FUN with ur photography. U seem to worry tooo much bout the specs of the gadgets rather than the fun u can have. Heck do urself a favor and go buy a HOLGA camera and have some fun. It is the WORST camera ever but takes AWESOME pictures and really reminds u to have fun and be creative.

So now that we've had pointless discussions about Jah's sexuality & his love for chewy black *****, how about someone contributes some photos since we just BS'd our way through a whole friggin page!
