aight still deciding if i should pay the second 24-70mm or not, its price is 1056 shipped, is that a good deal? i havent ask about the data code yet.. the one i just payed is May 07. Maybe i'll message him if i could retract and just pay him some inconvenience fees if he agrees not to give me a red flag lol.. or if someone stops me and interested on this i'll just go ahead and pay it
If someone would like to trade (plus/minus cash) w/ me im interested either the 14mm L, 50mm L or 10-22mm, im still with my xti so 14mm would be pointless if im looking for a ultra wideangle or fisheye lens?

Generally, the price is good.. You are paying the typical market price that I see on POTN. You can always go onto POTN and sell it back out.. or leverage it on a trade for one of the lenses you listed.
Oh man I totally forgot I have an account over there! lol I tried to message the seller if I could back out and pay a lil money for relisting, if he declines I'll buy it and i'll do sell/trade.
Anyweiz, whats lenses you guys can recommend for me? I only have the XTI and not planning on getting a fullframe anytime soon.
let say the only good lens I have is the 24-70mm L
here's what I have in mind
10-22mm
14mmL
50mmL
70-200L
sounds good?

trying to shoot a lil bit of everything, maybe cars, landscapes, maybe portraits.. I just wanna get 3 or 4 good lenses that would take me shoot different stuff and then i'll go from there
Don is right. It depends on what you plan on shooting. I can tell you right now that the 24-70 is not going to be anywhere near wide enough. A lot of people shoot wide, so I would suggest the 10-22.
I would stay away from the 14mm and 50mm L (if you really want a 50mm, look at the Canon 50mm f/1.4 or the Sigma 50mm f/1.4).. they are fairly specialized lenses.. 70-200 is good to have in your kit..

the thing with prime lenses is, most people can't stand them cuz they're too range specific for them, so i would maybe rent one and walk around and see how you like it
It really depends on the person.. some people can work with the restricted focal range.. others cannot.. i use to have a combination of zooms and primes.. zooms for general photos, and primes for specific events/photos.. for example, the 50mm is a great creative lens.. 85mm i used for portraits, basketball and volleyball... 300mm was for football, and the list goes on.
if you wanna try out primes, you can pick up a 50mm f/1.8 for under $100.. it should be a good intro into primes for you.
without argument, primes will always be faster, and sharper than zooms.. so if IQ is what you're looking for (main reason most people switch from zoom to prime), then consider primes.
