nah I got the non IS version cause i don't need or have any desire to use IS. I have IS on my 24-105 and i keep it turned off.

 

i like the camera alot, just got my eos strap into today. ebay ftw

Going to a strobist session in a few. Although I won't be firing the strobes from my camera, I do hope to learn a few pointers.

My friend took all the money shots since they were his strobes and his cam has commander mode. So until he edits them, I'll just post a few more of the ones I got.

you dont need three flashes.

 

key fill backlight.
backlight is not really necessary, that if you have a strobe large/powerful enough for a subject like a car.
key and fill can be obtained with either two strobes or one strobe and a reflector.
