DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
the pic looks in focus to me, It just looks like the resolving power isn't as high as what you're probably used to elijah, your 5D and L glass is a force to be reckoned with in terms of sharpness haha
Slight smart sharpen in PS should help some of the soft edges.
There is slight CA on the left edge of the car that may need to be touched up and the lights seem to be set a bit high, causing heavy shadows in the headlights and and front bumper and only lighting up the part of the hood and some of the bumper.
I think if you are going to do the fade to black thing, possibly have the front more lit and gradual fade from front to back may have more impact? But this is just a suggestion, in the end its up to you and your own style.
possibly lowering the position of the light source may have helped?

the shadows look soft because it looks like the lighting was diffused, from the patterns of the shadow it looks like two diffused strobes were used overhead camera left and camera right, maybe around 5 feet off the ground?

Chris, I know critiques are tough, that is the reason why I don't bother posting photo's in this thread either because I don't need to hear it hahahah
altogether, my sincerest apologies, I meant my critique to be constructive not destructive. If anything, possibly a a reflector directly in front of the car on the ground to help out a bit?
It's nothing personal, if you don't want critiques just mention it in the post

but yea I understand sometimes people don't want to hear it. Which is why I don't bother posting my stuff here hahaha. except for possibly the house hold plants and stuff :D
Chris, Im really sorry if I offended you, I was just offering some advice that you may find useful for the next time. Never meant to offend you
