download the software update, write the file to a CF card, put CF card in camera and turn it on. It is in the MANUAL that EVERYBODY should read. ha ha

ya know, I don't think I've ever done it. I know on canons website in they're downloads and support section for your camera, it has a step by step of how to do it and its not that hard.

 

there is a very extensive explanation with the firmware download. I used the cf card method.

Ive updated my 50D twice, and the current firmware made the most dramatic difference.


Now if I could only justify a 5D mark ii purchase.... ><
till than the 50d has been serving me nicely, So won't drop the coin til it's absolutely necessary.

hopefully by the time im required to get one, a successor will be out or the a new version of the 1D.

the top 4 are all fakes (mapped from 1 exposure). the bottom 2 from hungary are created from 3 exposures with -0.7/0/+0.7

you know you couldn't be more right. i've been all up and down the california coastline and although the beaches are nice, we still for some reason trash our beaches. Spain's coastline and beaches were much more pleasant on the eyes.

 

that one with the tc looks too saturated
