Ace, i am on that forum as well as Don and I think NYNCTC is.

 

The first two are my first 3 attempts at HDR. Although for some reason they don't look as good as the original files. Once I uploaded them they lost color and contrast and all that. Roja saw what I am talking bout.





The rest lost a bit too but oh well. Also tried some editing techniques today.

one of my shots from today, underexposed so the clouds were not completely blown out

 

I really like the cloud formations in the upper right corner. Too bad the whole sky didn't look like that.

Hey I'm new to the photography stuff, I just fiddle with my roommates Film SLR. I have to admit, its pretty fun to use and I always go on this thread to check out other peoples work. It's so amazing. This thread is awesome.

What do you guys recommend for a beginner DSLR? I know they are hardcore expensive, but what's a reasonable price for a beginner one?

 

i got my 10d with a grip for 200

 

Oh wow, that's a deal right? I dont see a price like that around for the 10d. 200 brand new?
