no it was used but in very good condition
a guy on fred miranda sold it to me. his wife was using it for photo journalism and kept it in good shape
and yes, it was an awesome deal considering the grip alone is near $200

Nice shot yourself, and no, the top was taken with a 100-400L and the frog was taken with a 400L 5.6 with a 36mm extension tube on it.

 

man i'd kill to have that 100-400L

 

It's nice. I think it's the 3rd lens I bought after getting my XSi last year. I bought the 55-250 for telephoto, got sick of it and found an awesome deal on it and I haven't looked back since.

The 400L was a friends and jeez is that nice as well, although it takes some getting used to shooting at 400mm with no IS (yeah, I'm spoiled).

 

my perfect setup i'll have one day is the 16-35, 24-70, 70-200, and then the 100-400.

I am trying to sell or trade my 24-105 in for a 24-70 right now.

 

I have a 70-200 f/4L that I might be selling soon, but I promise that if you have a 100-400, you won't be using the 70-200 much at all. That's what happened to me and hence the reason I might be selling. Would you be interested if I do?

Also, does anyone want to buy a brand new EF-S 18-200 IS for $525? Literally BRAND NEW, just got it a week ago, took 4 shots to make sure it worked, that's it.
