dude that is a sick tilt-shift! i tried it when i was in hongkong but cause of the tinted glass in the hotel the photo and the result was kinda weird... good stuff!

 

thanks.. i was in a buidling 30 stories up and i saw that road thought it was a good candidate..

when i flew into hong kong i tried to take pictures from the plane.. the architecture over there is pretty insane..

 

How do you do the tilt shift thing? It looks like a bunch of toys...

hong kong is absolutely beautiful at night. all the neon signs and everything.. and its pretty crazy how there are skyscraper apartments and such..

i flew to hong kong from korea.. to get back to LA.. trust me i know its a big U turn.. but i missed my original flight and had no other options.. i was pretty upset watching that little plan on my screen flying past korea..

but i agree.. hong kong is amazing at night.. lights everywhere

 

went to the park today... as usual. the wind made for some interesting hair.

WHOA!!! I think that's the most expensive camera accessory I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to see around the world with that, or perhaps x-ray vision...At that price it better

the 1200mm lens is a custom lens. Not many were made.

 

They were actually converted from FD mount lenses so they're all from the 80's which is pretty neat. It takes over a year to grow the fluorite crystal for the front element .

 

I think that used lens will be a tough sell, considering nowadays you can get a considerably smaller lens 600mm f4 and attach the 2x extender.
