I have a question. How do you do the layering thing? Like having one thing colour and the rest of the image b&w. I have been trying for the past two weeks and cant figure it out.

 

will the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens fit on the 10d?

 

select the part you wanna keep in color with the lazzo tool(i think) then right-click and "select inverse" then desaturate.
i have PS CS2

 

I use layer masks so it can always be undone and have adjustability. Just click on New Adjustment Layer (the button with the half black and half white circle on the layers palate) and click on Black and White. Then while the layer mask is still selected (white square on the B&W layer you just made), get the brush tool and paint over the part you want in color.

Btw, the second photo i took, that is how i saw it, the trees were almost pale which is why they look like they do. i wish I could do that on PS haha.
