Didnt like the 55-250?

 

no i love it! but i would rather have the 70-200 instead

but really, no one, 20D, should I? i may just pick it up and use my XS as a back up...

 

20D for 200? might as well. I got my 30D for 420ish shipped so that seems like a great deal. Ive been looking at the 55-250 but i would rather the 70-200

 

ya i emailed him so we'll see. if there arent too many clicks, i may just sell the XS and cover the cost of the 20D and a little more...

then saving up for the 70-200...again... (spent the money on the Professors last time )

Shutters usually only last 70,000-100,000 clicks.

Yea, and it's a pricey fix. People usually just end up buying a new camera instead of fixing it.

Used it safe, as long as the shutter count is relatively low. Sold my D40 with around 20k clicks, bought the D80 with around 12k clicks.

 

My 30D had around 8k i believe. Pretty minty.

 

yeah I guess so. u can see on the camera how many clicks it has? sorry for all the noob questions, now I know how it feels when sum1 new signs up to SL lol

 

Is there ANY way to reset the shutter count? I just checked, and my D80 is at 4902, and I bought it used, and I know I've clicked a good 1-2k times so far.

 

Yea, it's in the exif data. If you upload to something like Flickr, it will show you everything.

except that is a feature with the higher level cameras. my XS doesnt tell me how many clicks i have.

 

as far as i know ALL dslr's do it. If a d40 can do it then I'm sure any Canon will do it. ha ha
