Nice. I'm shooting a 50mm 1.8, but I've been wanting the 35. I've heard great things about it.

I've also got a GF "Puffer" coming and a spare battery. And now that I think I'm hooked on this photography thing, I may be ditching the D3000 for a D90 in the next couple of months.... Thanks alot, jerks :D

Few additions to my gear lately.

Just got a new 24-105mm f/4L IS lens, new Hoya HD filters for my 70-200mm f/4L IS and 24-105mm, as well as the HD Circular Polarizing Filter. Really dig the HD filters, they are awesome.

So I am happy with my gear so far, but next up is an ultra-wide angle (looking at Tokina 12-24mm f/4) as it is reported to be one of the sharpest UWA out there, and its quite cheap.

But as of right now:

Gear List:

Canon 7D
24-105mm f/4L IS
70-200mm f/4L IS
50mm f/1.8
17-85mm 4-5.6 IS
Tamron 1.4x Pro TC
430EX II Flash

Next on the buy list:
Tokina 12-24mm
Sigma 30mm f/1.4

Wish list:
Canon 135mm f/2L

I've got the 24-105 and I LOVE that lens. it is what I use 90% of the time. Just wish it was a little bit faster and it would be perfect.

I don't have any problem with it's speed, but the 7D is also very capable up to ISO 6400 so I just bump up the ISO if i need it.

If the light is that bad, f/2.8 won't save me and is still too slow. That is where primes come into play.

NICE! you actually got the AF-S 50mm. i think i would rather buy the 35mm 1.8 and another lens for the price of the 50mm AF-S. BUT nice pickups though.. lets see some pics with the 50mm!

No PP, just converted from RAW to JPEG... And I realize now the dog needs a bath now.
