DSLR Owners Unite! (56k? Are you kidding me?)
Question for the Nikon owners: Whats a good lens upgrade from the 'stock' 18-55mm lens on the D40? Something not too expensive and easy to understand for someone new to DSLRs.
Chris, how do you like the 7D? I'm looking at upgrading (7D, if I want to keep my lenses, or bite the bullet and get the 5D MKII) and I'm trying to gather as much feedback as possible. How does the ISO seem at 3200+?
a good (cheap) first prime lens people usually start with is the 50mm just because of how cheap it is.
well so far ive only had it for like 6 hrs and its totally not in the same class as my 50D. 3200 iso looks like 1600. ill tell u more when i get more play time.
yea i was leaning towards the 5Dii but i would have to sell off my My EF-S 10-22 and 17-55 for EF 16-35 and a 24-70$$$$. Plus the buttion layout is way better, video/live start stop button, Quick menu button, Raw jpg button. All the menu, play, trash, buttons on the left now like it should be. The build quality feels vary solid, doesn't feel plasticly like my 50D. 100% viewfinder is nice and 19pont AF is dope. I have no complaints so far.
Did a photo shoot last month at a small car show.
