Robert, it's a cross-processing layer from an action I got from thepioneerwoman.com. It was either the Seventies one or the Colorized one as those are the two I use most. But 90% of the time I'll run an action and only use 1-2 layers from it and do my own processing to get it how I want.

haven't used them extensively yet but they are capable of AMAZING work. A LOT of photographers use them. Just ask Don. the last shots he posted on here or on his 365 site were taken with them and they work great. They are completely manual for the most part but that's how flash photography should be. It's kinda like the nifty fifty of the flash world. ha ha

 

^^Im going to look into some, I just picked up 580exII and some cactus V4, I had a dated 380ex but I dont think it will work with my setup.

I dont need anything to connect the cv4s to the 580 though?

 

got a question for dslr owners. Do you guys shoot your images in Raw mode or just jpg. Just the conversion factor of raw->jpg takes forever so want to hear opinions

 

RAW. Life is so much easier.

 

the conversion takes no time...just save is as a jpeg file while in photoshop...

 

is your pc takes a long time for conversion, it is time to get a quad cores system.

what about hexcore in june lol, computers are getting ridiculous. System could be in need for an update, my macbook air converts fast enough to satisfy me, until i dropped the pos.
