How do you make a rig?

 

For a Rig setup everything is pretty straight forward in terms of Suction Cups, super clamps, and magic arm. What's the hard part is making a boom Pole because you want a certain length but you have to also consider the weight of the pole. I tried experimenting with different types of poles from EMT (Home Depot), PVC, and etc.

I still have to work on building a cable system as there's just a little too much vibration.

That GS is dope, it was just up on Canibeat.com, so clean

 

^^ It's actually not too difficult to make, like Racersky it's mainly experimenting with the pole material and length, usually ~9-14' is good. Play the buy/return game at Home Depot until you get what you want. Plus a good Google search can do wonders. Going to make my own one of these days.

Picking up the D7000 in the morning.

 

from a d90 to a d7000 not worth the money save it and wait for the d700 replacement.

 

Not going to spend that much on a body. Maybe a refurb'd D700 in a couple of years, but not right now. I'd rather put that kind of money into glass.

 

I don't know Your current situation but upgrading bodies to another dx body is a waste of money invest it in glass. D90 to D7000 is a waste of cash
