Ah so no physical film use then? My Olympus e420's sensor is a 4/3, which is considerably smaller than a full frame, do you think that'll make a big difference in image quality? Call me a noob, but I don't understand how this matters. If the 4/3 captures light on, let's say, half the surface that a full frame does, couldn't I just halve the zoom or take a few steps back since the Height/width proportions are similar? Or maybe I just need an optics lesson. Thanks for your help

Let's say I take a portrait with my 85mm. Keeping that focal length, but to have the same FOV, you'd have to step back from the subject. But when you do that, you'll start losing the intensity in the out of focus areas the further back you go. I think it's because you're increasing the size of the focal plane by moving away from your subject.

Here's a hard task... Take a +30 second shot (think this was around 45-60second) exposure, on a bridge, in medium winds, with out a remote shutter release. I probably snapped this one off 10 times before I got this as a result.

Stenger, Racersky; pretty sweet shots, both of you.
Racersky; the noise isnt distracting to me at all. Wouldnt have even looked for it and noticed it if you hadnt said something.
I went and toured one of 9 former Sears Roebuck distribution centers. Ours is 2.1 million square feet. It's being converted into a multipurpose facility with retail, offices, apartments, and recreation.

I must warn you guys, I'll be uploading a lot from today. Really pleased with the experience and how the photos turned out.

Thanks mang. But there is far more talent here, than what I bring to the table. I'd like to think my stuff would be better if I had some lens and a little better body, but I enjoy exploring area's and taking pictures. And that's what it's all about. And if I gain fame one day for it, dope. If not, I don't care. Its just a good hobby that mixes great with automotive and my love of history/urban exploring.
