What Printer do you have
Im getting a dslr very soon but i was wondering whats the best printer to accompany it. Im lookin at initial price and the refills. In the past ive bought numerous canon printers for around 30 bucks each ,and to refill them with ink cost more than buying a new printer so i kept buying new ones. Do you camera gurus have any info you can share i will be forever gratefull

yes. your best bet is going to be digital prints done for you via shutterfly or some other web source and mailed to you. $0.09/print. if you need prints same day, you can have your photos printed at places like walgreens which costs a few cents more but will be ready for pickup in ~1 hour.

if i need same day printing i go through walgreens and havent had any problems. make sure you use full resolution photos to print from. rarely do i need print same day though and then i go through either shutterfly or snapfish. $0.09/print is a steal of a deal to me. i've also gotten 8x10s from them which look great too. $3 for an 8x10. can't beat that. at least i don't think. if someone knows something better hopefully they'll chime in.

For the images I sell, I use Bay Area Photo out of California.
For things I print locally I use the Wal-Greens down the street. What I don't like using Wal-Greens is they tend to auto adjust prints on all sizes. I'm not sure why, but its annoying.
