I have for sale 2 Kicker Solo-Baric L7's 12" subs. They are the 2006 model with 2 ohm dvc ( 06S12L72 ).

Looking to get around $250+s&h for the pair. Still open to offers.

Also if local, I will throw in the box I made for them in for free.

Hell, I'm just south of you on Patrick AFB but I'm very content with my single 10" L7 lol. Good price though.

the boxes are funcional, i've had the subs in the last few months, i am working on finishing them now over the break (not going to happen though ).
The new box for each sub is about 2 cu ft net, tunned to 32hz, with port opening of about 24 sq in. (3 3" thin wall pvc pipe). Yeah the port area is a little on the small side, but they're round ports, and winisd said the port velocity was in the ok range. But even with a smaller box, the new FI's>Kicker's. They do pound, anything louder and I would be afraid to hurt the car, it flexes in places it shouldn't haha. I had the kicker setup metered once and they got a legit 144dB (term lab on the windshield) and I know for sure that the FI's are louder.

Nice.. Yea im not a fan of kicker at all. I was thinking of getting the l7 for my truck just because they were cheap..but its a very sloppy sub.. no matter what box.. Im sure right now you already know this.. Expecially with the FI's. My fav setup ive head was my Elemental design dual A12v2 setup with 2 JBl1200.1's in a ported box 2 cubes per sub ported to 30hz.

It would make ur gut jiggle!

I always wanted to try a crx style box in the tc.. Firing the subs up yeilds more db. But firing back got much better sq.

What source unit are you using? I have the eclipse cd5000.

Thats exactly why i changed to FI, for better sq, everyone knows kickers get loud but have poor sq, I wanted a better sq setup that can still get loud thats why I went with med size boxes and the copper coil option on the subs.
Right now I have a pioneer 7800 head unit its a great single din unit, but looking to get the new Avic x910 in the near future for gps, dvd and all that other good stuff.

That ed setup sounds like it would pund and def. make your gut jiggle haha, with the kickers people would always complain about how it feels when they breathe and how they could fell their hair move

The 10" L7 in the truck box I use sounds perfect but I agree with the big bass setups with large cubic feet boxes on Kickers. They get sloppy. Elevation frowned when I showed up with all Kicker audio (components x 4, mono, 4 chan, L7) to his shop until he heard it. He was surprised but I've got a few little tweaks done with the Pioneer deck, amp tuning and some frequency blockers on the tweets to take down their brightness.
