Default Scion Steering Wheel Control Interface (use controls for aftermarket headunit)

SoundGate REMPIOTOY wired steering wheel control interface for use with aftermarket Pioneer and Sony headunits. This unit is wired and will never have to be programmed like other interfaces that use infrared and have a delay/lag. The steering controls work instantaneously when you press them as it does with the OEM radio. Make sure that your aftermarket Pioneer or Sony stereo has the input for a wired remote.

This unit fits many of the newer Toyota/Lexus/Scion cars. Keeping your factory steering wheel controls after installing an aftermarket stereo is a MUST.

See their website for compatibility:

Does this change songs too? I bought a interface for my AVIC-D3 and it will only work the volume. Won't change the song playing or mute.
