while this is mostly true. the glass weighs a lot.. I'm not sure if the rod would support the weight. All I can say is give it a try, but I can't be held responsible if it bends or breaks something. These are meant to hold hatches partly closed by restricting how far the hatch lifts. Not to support the weight. They are not flimsy by any means, they are made from high grade steel. I just don't want to see something bad happen.

Have you thought about making rods for cars with Vertical Doors to keep them from swaying in the wind?

Rob you don't think just hooking it in to the latch area on the door then hooking it to the latch itself just like the reg ones, of course the hooks will have to be different, I may try it it with some aluminum rod like the hood prop that I have. Now just have to find some aluminum rod long enough lol

tried to make a set for lambo doors while at Pandemonium in Reno last summer.. it worked, but with Lambos there is way to much at steak.. I don't want the chance of someone saying the rods screwed up their car and then try and sue me for damages. So, no. I will not be making door rods for lambo doors. sorry.
