The ride is excellent, I was on Sprints for around 8 months until I went with Air. They are just about the lowest you can go on regular coils. After settle these things define the term slammed. I was on 18's and was able to rub fender if I hit a corner hard up front. They are linear rate springs so the ride is supple. If you're looking for a mean stance, I recommend these.
Id like to be nice and low, but I dont want a wicked stiff ride, which is why Ive been leaning more towards Tanabe DF210s as I hear they are a nice soft ride. I had k-sport coils for a few months and hated that cause it was so stiff.
how does the ride compare to stock? I know its going to be stiffer, but is it rough? Hotchkis are really low, but also really rough. My buddy has them on his 2011 xB and they're too stiff for my taste.

I found them to be close to stock as far as ride quality. Honestly, probably a little softer. Like I said, they are linear rate, which is how stock and TRD are wound (The rate is the same through compression). K-Sport, Hotchkis, and Eibach are wound for progressive rates (The more the spring compresses, the stiffer it gets).
