so since im just gonna retro, you think i should just get the depo ones?

 

Can't really say yes or no at this point.
The Depo projector bracket inside is plastic, so hitting bumps the projector shakes a little, which will be exaggerated with a sharper cutoff with proper HIDs. Next time I open the Depo's I going to weigh the projector. If my RX330AFS projector weighs less than the Depo H11 projectors I will probably just use them to retrofit.
I currently have both the OEMs and Depo's and the Depo's would be the best choice because the clear headlight front is new and clean.

i was gonna try the retro quik system from TRS

 

Not a good idea! Purchased the Complete Retro Quick system w/ Morimoto D2S Projector, 50W ballast and 50W bulbs. Toasted in 2 weeks. Big time FAIL, take a look here.
The Morimoto Mini D2S is currently being redesigned but it's just a entry level aftermarket fail product.
I know Honda S2K and Acura TSX have been successfully retrofitted into the 08'+ headlights but haven't heard of any others. I just spent the last month trying to retro the Lexus RX330AFS projectors, there just to wide for mounting. So you might want to look into 05'-07' headlights as they have more options for projectors....One more thing, try to use OEM projectors, ballasts, and bulbs... aftermarket wont last.
