does anyone know how much a used short block would go for?

 

It depends on who you know and where your buying it from. I hunting for a new motor or block after just throwing a rod. I've seen 500 or a little more but that's here in florida. Hunting around is your best bet unless you know someone at a dealership or engine repair shop.

 

oh nah, cuz im trying to buy solara's short block.. but he asked me to throw him a reasonable offer, and i have no idea what they go for and i don't wanna be a dick lol

i've seen some people sell long blocks for $600 or so on SL, but maybe that guy was delusional.
