thats not an excuse or valid reason to start threads in the wrong section.
you should have contacted a mod or administrator to address the issue first.
its prob. because you just achieved the needed post count, give it a day or two then it will prob work.

For $70, you can't buy the cables, controller and hard drive so I certainly don't think for $70 you're going to get a console. You're better off checking craigslist for all the cheap consoles that have been banned from XBOX Live in the past week, there should be 600,000 to 1,000,000 of them.

from people playing leaked games that they downloaded on xbox live before the games actual release date.

 

It's a place called the "scene" its composed of hackers, game manufacturing employees, nerds, etc. They acquire games before their actual street date, usually about a week before and they make them stealth, meaning modify the code, top layer code, to mimic an actual copy of the game even though it is a burned copy and makes it such that the flashed 360 dvd drive spoofs a regular 30 drive so undetectable by XBOX Live.

If you run a lower version of the hacked dvd firmware after a 360 update, especially with the newer games, you run the chance of your console's serial being blacklisted. You can get another console and your existing xbox live account will still work.

There is nothing wrong with playing games before their release date, in fact there are numerous of legitimate sources that will have them and play them online before the game releases.

It's those that do so with reckless abandonment that find themselves banned.

its all good i just got one for $75. i just wanted a used bare minimum console and that's what i got.
