Spotted my first XA yesterday!! Blue with Cali plates. Hopefully someone stickin around town. They'd probably be our only XA ever to be in the club.

 

Good day for Scion spotting. Saw the XA again, 2 min later, pulled up beside a black Gen2 XB and a few mins ago, was parked across from another Polar White XB. It was that one that's always parked on 14th St. with the blonde driver. I think it was my first sighting of that black Gen2 though.

k, an update for Scion coming to town. The International Car show is coming up shortly so the display cars should be in town probably next week. If you've seen any of the pics from previous shows, they've got one of each model, an RS xb and maybe an RS tc, plus the large rack wall full of custom paint models.

Also, the remodelling of Heninger is underway but our guy there tells me that only the SW corner of the upper floor is devoted to Scion, the rest is for Toyota trucks, which is bullsh!t. Talk about undermining the brand. Looks like they're really not looking at Scion to be a money maker in Canada. Understandable considering how far behind they are in getting the product to us vs. Nissan, Honda, Kia.
Hopefully South Pointe will have a larger display area for their models as it's a brand new dealership.

Anyway, if I can get my hands on some free tix or at least discount tix to the auto show, I'll let it be known.

Just got back from a sneak peek of the Calgary International Car show. Scion's got a great display setup with 1 of each of the usual suspects, TC, XB,XD and IQ plus one Prototype model that you'll have to check out for yourself. It's badass. No rack of cars like the US shows though, that was their own idea.

Looks like the IQ's arrival might be earlier than previously thought, which is good as there's going to be lots of interest thanks to the model sitting at the show right now.

Big Ups to Jeremy from Scion Canada for the tour. (I even got to drive the new TC for a few blocks!) We also discussed getting 403Scions in on some promotional events in the coming months so stay tuned. Scion will officially be up and running in Calgary in just a few short weeks.
