403 SCIONS Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
Spotted a grey Gen2 XB earlier on Elbow. I think it's the same one I tagged a long time ago up in the NE.
Took a peek at the XB sitting at Heninger and just as I was there, the Scion logo was being offloaded from the truck to go on the huge dealer post outside. Oh, and if you see a white Gen1 XB with a huge "Toyota" decal on the back window, don't tag 'em, I got it awhile back.

2900 kms 4 states, over 2.5 days and my XB has landed. Ended up having to do the drive alone as my buddy was stopped at customs :/.
Highlight of the trip was that I got upgraded to the L Suite at thehotel at Mandalay bay (2100sq ft) for free!
Car drives like a champion but it was kinda sad to show it, it's first snow hah

i know i know, hold the applause! im back :D
i do apologies for my disappearance from the club radar, but been busy with work, school and life in general!
something i did promise is the review on the scratched/curbed rims of mine.
in the beginning of last summer, as some of you had a chance to witness, i did curb both of my front Axis Pentas. i finally took them to get fixed up to Alberta Wheel Repair 2 weeks ago. prior to doing so i did search around on major car forums and got mixed reviews about the place in regards of price/quality/repair time.
my personal experience:
guys that work there are super polite and very friendly. took my wheels right away, promised me to fix them in 4 days, and charged me (again depending on the wheel, damage and paint) 160$/piece. that included fixing the damage and repainting of the entire wheel.
it did take them 6 days to get the job done, and the quality was amazing. impossible to tell where the damage was.
so as of right now i highly recommend the place if anyone was as unfortunate as i was and their wheels are a bit too pricey ( price i paid for both wheels to be fixed is still less of what i payed for one front wheel
)
for Saturday meet ill bring a few of their business cards i took on my way out and will bring the fixed wheel to show to some of you that are interested.
hope to see most of you on sat!
ciao

well that was a switch. I got tailed through Marda Loop by a blue Gen2 XB with blue headlamps and the front side air intakes had a set of those Audi style small led lights in them. Donovan, was that you?
Man, it's like playing tag with Norma! Pulled up behind me once again yesterday on 17th. If I hadn't had to get home, I would have pulled over to chat.
Also, we also had a sort of impromptu meet right before the meet. I was just coming up on Eau Claire, Kelly's behind me and coming the other way is another maroon Gen1! The guy didn't see us though. I believe I've seen him before though. Helluva coincidence.

Hey guys/gals, Richie at Heninger is having a small to-do at the dealership this friday night and has invited us all to come hang out for a bit. From 6 to 8pm. I shall be there.
yeah man.. something came up... me being an idiot... once again i got a little too drunk (*cough cough*) the night before and woke up at 4... im super sorry... and i wont be able to be at Heninger on friday - i work 5-12 ... gah!
No worries, but i do want to meet up and chat about your rims. I'll be needing to take mine in soon. Let me know what your weekend looks like dude.
so this rs 5.0 design is almost perfect... i really dislike the wing, the subaru inspired hood scoop, and not a fan of the shaved off door handles... but the front design with beautifully fitted huge FMIC, is a work of genius...so are the side skirts

welp, for about 2 seconds, we had a mini meet at the intersection in front Heninger! Me and Dmitry were leavin and Allan was comin towards us!
PLUS, a few mins earlier, we came across a TC2 at Stanley Park! We went back to tag him but he'd vanished. I'll find 'em.

Finally got my XB Registered, DF210s just arrived a couple days ago BOOM, time to drop!
I'm thinking of going with these rims in 17"

To go along with the five axis kit, eventually going to black vinyl the front bumper and the roof and then get a white shark fin antenna :D
