Band would be cool. The fight ring was very cool, definitely get them back.
Never did see any other dealer presence, besides you Ron.
They organized the parking pretty well for the Scions but maybe next time have a truly dedicated section for Scions with the dealers set up around it. I guess more of a "Scion lifestyle" atmosphere, if you know what I mean.
Lots of banners, small dj or sound setup. Have a dealership rep give out the Scion specific trophies.
Just some small touches like that would really grab attention.

 

I didn't go, but I think a Scion vs. Honda race is a very bad idea.

Everything else sounds pretty good.

 

10-4 on the Honda vs Scion. Think I'll ask about getting the Scion show display area closer to the show area (and a dedicated Scion area.) It would be a nice combo. Thought about the trophy's, but I think that may be one area that is better to do, than perhaps ask permission.

If you read this and think of something. Post away!!! I will see if there is something that can be done to get cars on the track faster. The line was a little long!!!

 

NPR didn't have their second entrance ready for the event. The concrete was just laid. It's ready now though, so line will definitely be faster next year with two entrances. The second entrance is one block down the road on the other side of the track.

Full blown concert is a great idea. Other activities that we've done in the past that can come back (if enough want) include: professional midget wrestling (www.HalfPintBrawlers.com), sky diving stunt show, motorcycle stunt show, break dance battle and MC battle. Would anyone be interested in a 3 on 3 dodge ball or basketball tournament? I've seen some people get laid out in dodge ball. It's pretty funny, lol.

I wouldn't go for the skydivers, all it would take is one guy falling 20,000 feet with an unopened chute to really put a damper on the day. Suuuurrre, 19 made it down safe, but all people will remember is that one guy that didn't.

Dodgeball, a nice volleyball court if possible (chicks are more fun to watch at VB) might be good.


What about this....You get a bunch of guys that want shiny finishes, park them in the shade, and see who can do the best detail job the fastest...Get Meguire's to sponsor it and call it the "Wax Off"....
