I've looked all over with no luck. Looking for a semi-large American Flag with a stand that will keep it from blowing over in the wind. I would like to display the flag at events and have it not blow over onto the FHC (or any other vehicles).

Any ideas? Offline or online will do.

 

Get yourself one of those patio table umbrella base's, cut a piece of steel tubing to the height you want it and you should have a pretty sturdy portable flagpole.

 

^ That'd be my suggestion... one of the old heavy mic stands modded a bit may work well too...

 

Weld it to your car ACE HARDWARE will have your flag!

 

If only you had a hitch...I have seen a bunch of guys running flags off the trailier hitch.

 

I think the patio table idea is a good one. You know that thing ain't gonna blow over. As far as the flag goes, any hardware store should carry them. Try ACE like boomster recommended.

 

if you use the hitch idea you can always take the flag off and use it as a stripper pole!!!

We were really active in the Boy Scouts when I was younger. My mom is a pack rat, so let me see if I can find one if not, the patio table idea is a good one.

that would be a little disrespectful though, but i know you didn't mean it to be your just LOCO

but that is kinda along the lines I was thinking, you could do like Jessica's stripper pole and just mount a flag pole under the opened hatch and the weight should be plenty to hold it
