This is getting really bad.... I need my scion now.....

I cannot just sit here and pretend like everything is ok anymore.

As many of you know my car has started to come together in the past few months and I have been working VERY hard with my lil collegiate paychecks to try and turn my car into a high caliber car like so many of you here on scionlife and in D&S.

However, recently i suffered a MAJOR setback by getting rear ended ( again, honestly don't touch me anymore im bad luck). My car has now been in the shop for about a month and a half and its still not put together... I still don't have the parts to take it back to where it was before the accident.

I am so frustrated with so many people on so many levels right now....

I spent the better part of the last two weeks talking to various companies about my car... which should have been done 2 Fridays ago....

I just don't understand why people think that they can NOT send parts when they are ordered... then SEND them broken... and then have the ***** to blame MY body shop for not fixing the parts that were broken to begin with. Now I am new to this body kit stuff but as i recall you don't ship out stuff in a box 4 times too small for the kit.


ALL THIS as i was ready to get sponsored for some stuff that is now given away to other people because of the failures of a few companies..(Its not like I can blame the companies that looked elsewhere for sponsored rides because if i were them i would have done the same thing) .... wasting my time my money and the efforts of people trying to get my car together...

Its so hard to keep your cool when things like this happen and frankly, I'm beginning to understand the ____ that you guys must go through with stuff like this everyday. It really gives me a sense of appreciation for those of you who have pushed the envelope like i am hoping to do with my car.

There is no worse feeling than walking into a bodyshop.... after ur car has been there for a month... and looking at it... still torn down....... its crushing....


At this point I'm not going to list names, as the companies involved have a chance to make it right. I believe it is their duty to do so. But I just needed to vent some of my frustration so maybe, just maybe i could get a good nights sleep.

Boy, I think we need to start a "get my car out of the damn shop" club. You be president & I'll be vice-president. Deal? DEAL!

& this sucks, cuz who knows if my car will be done in time for us to hang out on friday, if not, then I'm haulin my ___ to Chandler.

 

i can't sleep either man. working and watching hot import models on speed channel is keeping me awake.

sorry to hear about your ride man... next time - go to scott's coach works. they do all the dealership work for Lexus and it's where I took my ride when I got rear ended 2 years ago.

trunk had a small dent and they just replaced the whole trunk lid. i took home the old one and made this after i pushed out the dent with my thumbs. haha!

The lights have blue LEDs in them.

 

....I'm sure everything will work out in the end. Just remember that no matter how bad of a day your having someone else is having a worst day than you.

What body shop is your tc at anyway? I work in the parts dept at Auto Body World on 27th ave and maryland, I see alot of what your talking about. The shop orders the parts from the vendor but the drivers or shippers inbetween that are the big problem that I see. We get some damaged items that make you scratch you head as to how in the heck did that happen. Sucks you have bee down this long.

Man, BJ that sucks dude! Everything will work out eventually. Hopefully when you get it back it'll look awesome and it'll be worth the wait. And don't even sweat the sponsorships, they'll be plenty more available. Oh, and here's my contribution to the scionlife hug
