Default Colorblindness website that i mentioned last night

Here is a link to the site along with an example I ran myself. This pic was taken from my Seattle trip where i was having my picture taken with random people and this one happened to work at a show store.............anyway.

On the site you can upload a picture and have it sent back so you can see what colorblind people see, if you want to see what I see you will need to select the "Protanope" option when converting. The "Tritanope" version is really rare and have only met one person that had it and she was a female so that made it REALLY rare since females are normally not colorblind.

Explore the website though, it can be interesting. when looking at these two pictures below keep in mind that they look identical to me, so I can't really say how accurate they are. Anytime I've done this for someoene though they really get surprised on how different it is, to me its just normal and what I've always seen.

Here is the "Deuteranope" version. It basically looks the same to me but I can tell a little bit of a shade difference, other than that though it looks normal to me.

i'm gonna have to check that website out. i'm colorblind too but the only difference i see in those 2 pictures is that the original looks a little darker. Looks like all they did was brighten it up a little. that may just be my colorblindness kicking in too though.

original-Deuteranope vision

altered

i checked the other ones and tbe protanope doesn't really look any different and the tritanope does. That's the kind of color blind my grandpa was. I'm lucky i didn't inheret that kind!
