roll a new GT40 It would look sweet parked in the garage.

 

I knew it was 4WD, but I never thought it'd be used as a rallye car.......

If you get it, can I go for a ride????? You wont even have to get out of 3rd gear......

 

I think they had some problems in development, but that W16 (not V16) motor is insane! 1001 hp @6k rpm

Well I orignally dreamed of owning a McLaren F1 XP5





But, I know they are all pipe dreams and maybe i'll strike the lotto and can afford it.
I'd still have to register it and put insurance on it. I am not even sure they will let the Bugatti state side since it can go faster than 200mph.

I think the Bug will make it stateside, however, it F1 above had to be snuck in. It has been done, but questionably....

Either way, they are both great cars!!

 

There are two Bugattis like that one in SoCal. Seen one in person and the toher was at Laguna Seca almost got totalled too

 

I think I'd just sit down and cry if I saw one get totalled......

 

there is a vid somewhere on the net. It was at the historic races and got a little squirly and almost side swipe the wall and skidded into the gravel

A friend of mine had a track only car that he wanted as a daily driver. They wouldn't allow it as is, so he installed the headlights where the cutouts were molded and installed turn signals and such, and then just gave it a salvage/rebuild title and had them inspect it. It was all good from there.


P.S. When you do get your bugatti, can I have your strutbar?

I have been thinking of trading the tC for an RX8...and even though they are decently priced used I'm not sure having more of a loan is the best thing right now...
