Hey folks, just wanting to know if anyone in the Albuquerque area knows of a good place (and reliable) to get 2 Subs, and an amp installed...this is for a friend, but just checking around...he was thinkin BestBuy...but i dunno, ive never been to them so i couldnt tell him..and AudioExpress is HORRIBLE, i went there with my B and they cut unnecessary wires, and screwed up my passanger side door switch cover,(its broken off ) so yeah, any help is AWESOME! Im makin a trip to ABQ in the next 2-3 days, so i need feedback a.s.a.p

I dunno, man. For the most part, I do my stuff myself. I have a buddy who I play hockey with that is an installer for Best Buy & he helps me out sometimes. He's pretty good, but it's hard to say that they are good across-the-board, yanno? If he's looking for a high-end type box w/f-glass & all that, then BB is probably not the place, either. I've had bad luck with A/E too, as well as a couple other local spots, which is why I started doing it myself. If it doesn't have to be uber-fancy, I'd say learn to DIY. Amazing what you can do with a cheap skillsaw, cheap staple gun, & a Dremel w/a router attachment. A helluva lot cheaper in the long run, too...//TJ

 

^^ Hey man, yeah it doesnt have to be super fancy, he wants it kinda "Stealth" so he just wants to small enclosures in the back of his trunk, on the sides..so it takes no room what so ever..pretty much BASIC! and just covered/painted in red or black (hes a HARDCORE icp fan) so im gonna take a run to abq and check out BB, HOPEFULLY they can help me out...because i have 13 days to finish this up, hes coming back from overseas, ...i had 15 months to finish this!! and im barely starting on it 12 days before LOL..so mmhmm!! thanks for the post!
