Did you know you can change the word "Scion" on your stock head unit? I am sure most of you know that, but for the new people I thought i would give them a heads up, just read the radio manuel that came with the car for details on how to change it.


I read this on the Ice&Interior section. I love the cool little things you can do with this vehicle.

I changed mine when I got my box too!

 

I think my stock deck lasted maybe 2 days.

 

LOL, I know the feeling and I was in the process of doing the same thing, but I monkeyed around with the SSP settings, and changed it from TC to XB, and quite honestly for a stock deck it sounds pretty dang good. I also have it on Hear. So I will ride it out until the CD player dies. The lenses on theses decks are cheap and don't last long any ways. So for now I am going to buy some new speakers for it, and do a slow change out myself. Never have done a speaker change, but the DYI threads are pretty easy to follow.
