Default i might be gettin rid of my tc

as the topic states, i might be gettin rid of my tc. either sellin it or givin it to my little brother. my mom got offered a really good deal on hondas, and as much as i hate hondas, a 2007 si would be siiiiiick. its not set in stone yet. but its somethin im highly considering.

im not a fan of the si exterior styling... the concept was badass but the production is odd... i think the hood is abnormally short and the car doesnt look proportioned right

i freakin hate the exterior of the si. but ive thought about doin the modified sc route. and it would cost a butt load of money. if i get this si, it wont cost anymore than my tc costs me now. i love the scion scene way more than honda. i hate honda with a passion actually. but that car is damn fast for the same price as a tc(in my case). like i said its not set in stone, but im highly considering it.

pros: way faster, six speed, lsd, navigation, no huge sunroof exploding on me. factory subwoofer. it just came out compared to the tc that has one more year before its replaced. and its much more rare than the tc.

cons: no bueno exterior, honda label, no auto up/down on both windows, no reclining rear seats( which doesnt matter to me exept when people are sittin behind me i have to move the seat up) which is one of the big things i like about our cars. most of my friends would prefer to sit in the back seat of my tc cause its so spacious.

i love my tc. its my first brand new car that i pay for. but the whole 3 year shelf life isnt too appealing. that means this time next year, no ones gunna give a cr@p about this car. just like no one cares about the old si. cause the new one is that much better. my car is also waaaay to noticeable. which is good in a way, but at the same time every time i pass a cop i get eyeballed, or my plates ran, or followed till i do something wrong. and its really annoying.

but i still dunno yet. i dread the honda stereo type with a passion. i almost pooed myself the other day when i was gettin my tires rotated at discount. this kid walked in with a vtech jersey and a tribal armband with a honda emblem in the middle and he was drivin a mitsubishi with a fart can and euros. i wish i had a camera.

but back to topic, i would much rather keep my car and super charge it and what not. but the practicallity of me dumping that much into my car is slim to none. like i said its just a thought. well see what the future has to offer.

sorry for the rant lol. and any misspellings or sentences not making sense. its 3:15 am and im about 15 bud lights deep. lol.

With the sc and my tc I was in the same price as the si is now. It was all the other goodies that I have added to the car that has made it mucho more expensive, and yes a lightly modified sc system like mine rips the si a new one on the track.

Do whatever you feel like. Personally, if I had the chance to get a different new car for the same price I would. For me the tC = DULL at this point in the game. I've gotten pretty tired of it. Right now I'm just holding out until I can find something that can hold my attention for more than a year. Even though I hold a strong dislike for Honda, if I were in your situation I would probably trade my car in for an SI just for the sake of something different (and that's saying a lot because I detest Honda).
