I Need Advice...
I am looking to add an intake system to my 06 XB. It's an automatic. I am not sure what to use. Short ram intake, Cold air intake? Injen, K&N, AEM? What's everyone's thoughts on it? What does everyone have? Thanks in advance.

I have the AEM cold air but after hearing all the "I hydrolocked my motor" threads I converted it to a short ram...Turned out really clean and now the filter sits behind the headlight and fog light area...I may be selling mine, shoot me a PM if interested...Mark (bbcrud) is wanting me to buy the RS2.0 Solar Yellows that they have left in stock...
They all do about the same thing. Some are smoother than others on the inside supposedly, but they all do the same thing. It looks better at shows to have a brand name part, but they all do the same thing.
Thanks for the replys. I work right behind a body shop in Tempe. And a couple of weeks ago I seen an xb with the drivers side fender knocked off. It had a cold air intake. When I seen how far down the filter hung, the first thing I thought about was the rain. I mean let's face it, it doesn't rain much here. But the monsoons can get crazy. We spend alot of time in San Diego and it rains a bit there. Thanks for the help and comments guys.
Both! Cold air for this time of year, when the chance of flooding is zero and the air is great. Your car will feel very happy during the winter months. Short ram for summer since there's not much cold air to be found anywhere...and safety from monsoon storms.
