I just spoke with the promoter and it looks like this event has been canceled until sometime next year.

 

After9events has been really flakey lately. The last couple shows they have cancelled at the last minute.

 

Seriously I was all up for their Imports vs Domestics run at speedworld and they canceled it whatsup with them!!

 

How in the hell can you rain out something thats indoors??? Cricket Pavillion is indoors right?????

 

Actually the venue had changed to Speedworld Raceway. I think them cancelling isn't totally the fault of After 9 though. I know they don't totally rely on the Scion community for their event but I'm sure it did seem that many of us were not going to be able to show with our other event we have going on, which no fault to anyone of course so I'm not saying that.

Another thing to consider is that with the bad rains we had this last weekend if they had vendors pull out or could not get enough vendors to sign up for the event something like this they could end up losing money one which isn't good either.

I know this sounds weird coming from me but I am starting to trust their events more and as long as their aren't any conflicting events I plan on going to this once it's rescheduled.

I will leave this thread up as an announcement until after it was supposed to happen just so that anyone that was planning on going to it can see that it was canceled and plans accordingly.

that's just a guess, but it's all I've got.

 

I thought they were supposed to have this event back in September during the time of Scion Invasion, then they cancelled that. If I am not mistaken, it was supposed to be at Firebird. But Scott may be right, not enough vendors might cause that. But why would they not get enough vendors? Who knows. I just know that it appears that they flaked out on another event.
