Haven't heard about it. Maybe one of the dealers is supporting it and your friend thinks that means "Scion"

There is a 10k run/3k walk going on around tempe town lake, but it's not being done by scion as far as I know. I just saw it on the news yesterday morning but can't remember who they said it was for. It was one of the major walks, supposed to be around 10k people.
which could it be?

The JDRF Walk for Juvenile diabetes is Nov. 4th. It's 5k at Tempe town lake, but no run. I don't know anything about Scion dealer involvement, but there isn't a list of local sponsors anywhere. Ron Hoon and the channel 10 morning show are into it big, along with Stu Evans at KMLE.

Custom medals will be mailed to the top 3 Male & Female finishers in the following age divisions: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60- 64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75+. Award winners will be posted in the November 23 issue of the New Times.
